Many of the the most influential African-American leaders of Houston are interred here, including Jack Yates, Rev. Fred Lee Lights, and Isiah Milligan Terrell. Come and enjoy this free presentation following the quarterly meeting of the Friends of the Texas Room, a non-profit whose sole objective is to support the collections of the Houston Metropolitan Research Center.
