Sunday Go to Meeting: Documentarian Talk

Earlie Hudnall, Jr. came to Houston as an undergraduate art major at Texas Southern University. It was while studying with Dr. John Biggers that Hudnall discovered his love of photography. Beyond the campus of Texas Southern, on his days off, Hudnall began to explore and photograph the African American communities of Houston. Capturing moments ranging from a child’s early days at worship to the women of the congregation impeccably dressed and crowned, Hudnall’s work chronicles the life and sanctity of the church and the vibrancy of our community. Join us for a unique presentation on visual arts and Houston history.
